By accessing, browsing and/or using this web site you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to our policies. Weddings By Wendy is not responsible for any liability, loss, injury, or damage incurred by the use, or misuse, of any products shown in this web site. Keep small items, candles, beaded products, and packing materials out of the reach of children. Never leave burning candles unattended.

The information on our craft instruction sheets are presented in good faith, but no warranty is given, nor results guaranteed, nor is freedom from any patent inferred. Since we have no control over the physical conditions surrounding the application of our craft information, Weddings By Wendy disclaims any liability for the results. Thank you.

Revisions to This Policy

Weddings By Wendy reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this policy and other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Notice of any revision, amendment, or modification will be posted here and will only apply to information collected after any such change.

Pricing

We endeavour to maintain up-to-date pricing information and availability of our products. Prices are subject to change without notice. Any quote provided by Weddings By Wendy will be honoured for a period of 10 days. After that time, the price may be subject to price increases imposed by our suppliers. In order to maintain our low prices, minimum orders are required and stated in the product description where applicable.

Taxes

All orders in Canada are subject to 7% G.S.T. Orders within Ontario are also subject to 8% P.S.T. All orders from outside of Ontario are exempt from the provincial sales tax. Customers are responsible for any brokerage, tariffs, duties, and taxes that their resident country applies on the shipment.

Ordering

To order, adjust the quantity of product to suit your needs and click "Add to Cart". Weddings By Wendy uses PayPal for our transactions and you will be re-directed to a secure shopping cart where your selection will appear. Or, if you hold a Canadian Bank account, we will accept Email Money Transfers (EMTs) via Web Banking as well. To continue shopping click "Continue Shopping" and you will return to our website. You can view your cart from any page using the "View Cart" button.

To complete your order, click "View Cart" from the website. You will be re-directed to your shopping cart. Click "Secure Checkout" and you will be entered into the secure website. Your total will be calculated including applicable taxes and shipping and handling charges. If you have a PayPal account you can log into your account from this site.

Once we process your order, we will email you confirming that we have received your order. It will include your order number, product description and the estimated shipping date. Orders usually ship within five to seven days, however some products (especially personalized items) will require a later shipping date. Please email us if you have some specific requests regarding shipping dates.

Back Orders

If one or more items from your order are out of stock, a backorder notice and expected date will be listed when you check the status of your order. If an item becomes discontinued, we will contact you via email. If your order requires more than one shipment due to a lengthy backorder, you will only be charged a shipping fee for the initial merchandise sent.

Shipping

In-stock items are typically ship within 24 hours after full payment has been received on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers). Most orders are shipped within five to seven days of receipt of the order. Please allow up to 12 weeks for custom orders and hand-made items such as favors, invitations, permanent florals and accessories. Products which come from Asia take approximately 8-12 weeks so please order well in advance. Once your order is shipped, we will email you again with your tracking number.

We welcome orders from within Canada and the USA. American orders may be charged brokerage fees and/or duty taxes. If any brokerage fees, duty taxes are to be collected, it will be done directly by the courier or customs broker, and not Weddings By Wendy. We also welcome international orders, however please contact us prior to ordering for accurate shipping costs. We use a variety of carriers such as Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, FedEx, CanPar, DHL and at times - our suppliers will drop ship to our clients directly.

Shipping costs start at $5.00 and depends on the item(s) ordered, their weights and their volumes. A shipping fee will be given to you before you finalize your purchase. Shipping fees may be reduced on orders that meet flat-rate requirements. If you prefer overnight/express shipping, please call 416-918-3891 and we will try to accommodate your request.

Changes & Cancellations

To change or cancel your order, please contact us within three days of placing your order. Your order may be changed or cancelled as long as your order has not already shipped or sent out for printing. For personalized items, once the order has been processed we do not allow changes or cancellations.

You may change information previously provided to us via email, but please note that since email is not a secure communications method, we recommend you avoid sending vulnerable data (such as credit card numbers) via email. Please be specific in your change requests.

Returns & Exchanges

We are confident that you will be pleased with your order and our products. We assure nothing but quality for all of your special occasions! Exchange and/or Returns are accepted only for true manufacturer defects or errors for which we are responsible for. Please contact us by e-mail only at WeddingsByWendy@sympatico.ca within 3 days of receiving it for return authorization. Please type in "returns" in the subject line. Returns made without Weddings By Wendy's prior authorization will not be credited.

A 30% re-stocking fee will be levied on all returns. Any shipping related duties and taxes incurred will be deducted from your refund. Unauthorized returns and refused orders will not be accepted for refunds. All items must be returned in their original condition and packaging (unused and unworn). Please send the item(s) back to us by using a reputable carrier and also pay to have your package insured against damage or loss. Return shipping must be pre-paid by you. Clearly mark on the box "RETURN TO VENDOR". We reserve the right to reject any returns and/or exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

Upon receipt of the return, we will then credit you for the merchandise only. Please note that shipping charges, special/custom orders, food items (candies, chocolates), personalized items and sale/clearance/discontinued/closeouts items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are not sent back within 10 days of authorization. We appreciate your business and value you as a customer and hope that you love everything that you buy from Weddings By Wendy.

Specific information based on categories:

• Flowers - no exchange or returns on flowers containing calla lilies, orchids, stephanotis, custom made orders and sale/clearance items.
• Tiaras, Headpieces, and Hair Pins - For health reasons, all tiaras, all headpieces, all hair pins cannot be exchanged or returned.
• Jewellery - For health reasons, all earrings or earrings as parts of sets, custom made orders and sale/clearance items cannot be exchanged or returned.
• Invitations and Stationary - You are responsible for ensuring that spelling is correct when proofs are faxed or emailed to you for approval. These personalized items cannot be exchanged or returned once they have been sent to the printers for printing. If the items have not been sent for printing yet, a 30% fee will be levied for our design time.

Colour Selections & Substitutions

We have taken great care to present our products as true to actual color as possible, however, computer monitors vary widely. If color accuracy is crucial, please contact us with your concerns. In some cases, we can send you a color swatch. In the instance that materials originally used in floral arrangements, or other custom items, becomes temporarily, or permanently unavailable, they may be substituted without notice. We will only substitute items with the same or higher value in this instance.

We want you to feel comfortable shopping with us. Weddings By Wendy is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and using information responsibly. Please read below for detailed information about our privacy policy. This policy statement discusses technical issues that relate to your personal information.

Weddings By Wendy will never sell or disclose your information to any third party. We do not make public any information regarding an individual's sales activities or spending patterns. Only the information that you provide via our on-line forms is recorded, and this is only so we can help you. Our site uses a secure order form for your purchases. Information collected on this form is used to process your order, and to reach you if we have a question about your order.

Our site uses 'cookies' (a small file placed on your machine) to manage navigation when shopping. We also use persistent cookies, which stay on your machine after you leave our site, to enable your shipping and billing information to be filled in on our order form if you decide to return to our site (instead of asking you for the same information every time you return).

Our website does not store personal information. We collect in order to process transactions for commercial purposes. Contact information (email address, telephone number, address, etc.) from the order form is used to send your orders and information about our company to you. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you when necessary. Financial information (credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, billing address, etc.) that is collected is used only to bill you for products and services and not stored. Information collected on any of our forms may only be used to contact you, whether in person or via automated emails in response to your form submission.

It is the policy of Weddings By Wendy not to use or share the personal information about Visitors or Customers in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to prohibit such unrelated uses. However, Weddings By Wendy may disclose personal information about Visitors or Customers, if we believe that it is reasonable to do so, including: to satisfy laws, such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information; to disclose information that is necessary to operate the Services properly or to protect Weddings By Wendy and our Members.

Responses to Email Inquiries

When Visitors or Customers send email inquiries to Weddings By Wendy, the return email address is used to answer the email inquiry we receive. Weddings By Wendy does not use the return email address for any other purpose and does not share the return email address with any third party.

We read every message we receive, and strive to reply promptly to each. Please contact us, if you have questions or comments.

Security

Your Wedding Company has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use a 128-bit server-side SSL certificate to encrypt information such as your credit card number, billing address, etc.

Our certificate was issued by InstantSSL (http://www.InstantSSL.com). Your information is stored in a database we maintain at our office. We strive to protect our customer information from hackers as well as thieves. We regularly purge old orders to backup, so our entire customer base is never vulnerable. We provide a secure link to view the status of your order so that your billing and shipping information continues to be secure if you check your order's progress.
